Overview

Zora's House is a non-profit organization based in Columbus, Ohio. The organization provides women and gender-expansive people of color with the space, skills, and strategic connections they need to thrive personally and professionally.

One of the organization's signature programs is their seasonal Women+ of Color Owned Markets. Typically taking place in Summer and Winter, these markets invite women and gender-expansive people of color vendors to connect with the Central Ohio community and encourage folks to shop, connect, and enjoy the unique vibes of each maker-made memento and moment.

Problem

The holidays welcome a season of simple gifts, shopping, and, of course, snow. With women+ of color being the fastest growing demographic of entrepreneurs in the United States, Zora's House had the opportunity to continue in their collaboration with these business owners and invite Central Ohio shoppers to put their money where their mouth is when it comes to shopping small.

Solution

For Zora's House's 2025 Women+ of Color Owned Holiday Market, our team developed and executed upon a number of dynamic tactics in order to drive participation from the local community. Tactics included:

Despite snowy weather on the day of, the cross-channel campaign drove hundreds of supporters to celebrate the season with Zora's House, in turn driving thousands of dollars in revenue for the women+ of color business owners and reinforcing a sense of economic sustainability for the nonprofit and business owners alike.
